Mum's cremation will be an completely unattended event. As a family we have decided to wait until the Summer so we can have a picnic and a gathering of friends and family outside which is where Mum preferred to spend as much time as possible. Mum was not at all religious and had always said she didn't want a big fuss. In her personal notes she stated in block capital letters that on no account should anyone be wearing black. 😍 Please use this cremation date and the weekend to say your own personal quiet goodbyes and prayers following the traditions that you feel the most comfortable with.
